CHRISTMAS VOCABULARY!

WHO IS THIS HAPPY LADY? 😜

As you can see, your English teacher did the English way to Santiago three years ago!  It was a wonderful experience because she met people from all over the world (Italy, Germany, Poland, Ireland, Brazil, Argentina, France...).  They all spoke different languages but it was not a problem because thanks to English they could communicate to each other and have fun together. This picture was taken at the starting point in Ferrol  πŸ’ͺπŸ˜‰ Would you come with me next time? πŸ‘£

DANCING IS NOT MY CUP OF TEA! - SAID THE BOYS. πŸ™„INFANTIL 6A

Today, we have used our punches and pads to cut out a star and play a game about some jobs in English. We love singing and "dancing" too, well... some more than others. Look at the boys, please! Aren't they funny?  I hope they try it harder next time...  πŸ˜‚πŸ€· https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZKGAQJdhbVvH91m2ODc8JmTHhQEgfVor/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZB713csG80DPka3pmaM43SxFKqkWmt15/view?usp=drivesdk

THE ENGLISH WAY TO SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA (Stage 1. Ferrol-Neda).

In this school year (2021-2022) we are doing a project on the Santiago's way.  There are many ways to get to Santiago but in our English class, we will work on the English way! GUESS WHY! πŸ˜‰ The English way is a short path within Galicia, from Ferrol to Santiago de Compostela, used mainly by Northern Europeans pilgrims who used to arrive by boats. It is one of the shortest routes to get the certificate. For further information click on  https://www.pilgrim.es/en/english-way/

HAVING A GREAT TIME !! (Infantil 6B)

Today we had a special day! The 6th graders came to our class to teach us a lovely song against gender violence in sign language.  Then, we called our teacher Noelia and we told her how much we miss her. She loves us as much as we do and it was a big surprise for her! After that, we knew another Archie's friend called "robot" and we watched a story about him.  Finally, we glued the stickers related to some jobs in English and we coloured a worksheet about them. We had a great time! πŸ˜ƒ https://drive.google.com/file/d/1X0KmJcbevxuHZW4tDwaX9t1EMshgMGGr/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wcvf9BacTWSQamlvQKhZSzbZURCGVXMf/view?usp=drivesdk

ACLARACIΓ“N MOI IMPORTANTE. Happy Samhain -Halloween!!

Feliz Samhain-Halloween!!! 🧑πŸ”₯πŸ‘»πŸŽƒπŸ§‘πŸπŸ‚ Non Γ© unha guerra senon unha riqueza cultural e como tal, deberΓa de contar cunha convivencia pacΓfica. Que viva a diversiΓ³n! SPEAKING LESSONS WITH PRERNA!

Lourdes. Spring is already here, that's way on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, our 5th and 6th graders are having speaking lessons in small groups with our language assistant Prerna. They love relaxing in the sunshine and having a conversation outdoors because they feel more comfortable and free to express their feelings. In addition, I would love to thank Prerna and our new management team, (Angeles, Isis and Arac

TIME CAPSULE! 5th Graders (2020-2021)

Yesterday, our 5th graders buried their time capsule in the school garden.  It is full of letters about their dreams and plans for the near future. Their teachers did the same and we all were very excited. We hope to be together again on the 7th, May, 2036 to dig it up and see how our lives have changed by then! See you all in 2036 and hope for the best!

THE TYPICAL INDIAN DRESS!!

SofΓa (4th B) has shown us today her uncle's present from India: a beautiful, shiny and colourful Indian dress. Prerna, our Indian language assistant, has told us the parts of this costume and some other interesting stuff about it. If you want to know more about it, click on this great video!! I think that Prerna and SofΓa made a good team, didn't they?  NamastΓ©!

We are so lucky to have a language assistant from India because we can learn a lot of aspects about her country and her amazing culture besides improving our English! Enjoy it again and after that, answer these questions: INTRODUCTION: WHAT DO YOU ALREADY KNOW ABOUT INDIA? 1. What does "namaste" mean? 2. How many states has India got? And union territories? 3. Can you name at least four Indian landmarks ? 4. How many identified languages are there ? 5. How many scheduled languages are there? 6. How many official languages are there? Which ones? 7.
